01 / Project overview
A modular recruitment platform connecting candidate, employer, service, communication, and interview workflows inside a custom WordPress architecture.
02 / The challenge
Recruitment operations span different users, permissions, profiles, messages, interviews, services, and commercial rules. The product needed to support those connected workflows without turning the WordPress codebase into one tightly coupled feature bundle.
03 / Solution
The platform was shaped around real hiring journeys: candidate and employer accounts, role-aware dashboards, structured job and profile data, candidate discovery, communication, scheduling, and service enquiries.
04 / My role
Custom theme engineering, feature-plugin architecture, workflow implementation, responsive UI, pricing structure, account experiences, and the product decisions connecting those layers.
05 / Technical approach
A custom theme owns presentation while modular feature plugins own domain behavior. WordPress roles and capabilities separate candidate and employer actions, structured content models support jobs and profiles, and API endpoints enable focused interactive experiences.

07 / Technical decisions
Keeping feature domains modular makes the system easier to test, maintain, and extend. Presentation remains replaceable, capabilities provide an explicit security boundary, and workflow status changes can trigger reliable notifications.
08 / Result
Candidates and recruiters can manage the core hiring journey from purpose-built account experiences instead of relying on WordPress administration. The platform supports continued feature development through a modular product structure.
